【The Meditation Session】
【What to do at the conclusion】

【When your meditation has become somewhat stable, lengthen the session. In all the sessions make your practice free from the faults of being either too strict or excessively relaxed, and thereby sustain your meditation. In this way you will have few obstacles and will overcome problems such as overtiredness, laxity, and lethargy. 】

Then you are stable. That is how it is! At that time you can lengthen the duration. That is when you can actually lengthen the duration. It is not just about torturing your legs. So there are many who practice "meditation without normal sleeping", eh, I feel it is too bad for him. But there is no way for me to tell him and cannot help him. For those who are sitting here, perhaps some people here already believe what I have said so far, since we have learned quite a few instructions earlier. But if for yourself, whether you keep listening [to me], or if you read on your own, and read through [the teachings on] serenity and insight, then even if I tell you not to follow it, you would not give it up. You will understand it thoroughly and be very clear about it . What is generation and what is stabilization, you would know the subjective aspects [i.e. mental behavior] of every stage. When you enter at each stage, there is an order to follow. So at that point you lengthen [the session], then you would be right!
