Getting To BW Monastery
No. 1 Woodlands Drive 16, S(737764)
1. By Public Transport (Bus/MRT)
a. From Woodlands South MRT (10mins walk)
Head east on Woodlands Ave 1 toward Woodlands Drive 16 for about 400m. Turn left onto Woodlands Ave 6. Walk another 400m and you will reach BW Monastery.
b. From Admiralty MRT (7mins bus, 2mins walk)
Take Bus 901M from the bus stop outside Admiralty MRT. Alight after 4 stops at Blk 573A (you will actually pass by BW Monastery on the bus) and walk about 130m before arriving at the monastery.
c. From Woodlands MRT (14mins bus, 2mins walk)
Take Bus 901 from Woodlands Bus Interchange
Make your way to Woodlands MRT. Walk over to Woodlands Bus Interchange.
It will take roughly 20 minutes to get from Woodlands Bus Interchange by bus to BW Monastery.
Woodlands MRT NS9
Alight at Woodlands MRT Station. Cross over to the bus interchange and look for bus terminal bay 901.
Alight opposite Blk 575, after La Casa Condominium
Alight at the 7th stop after seeing La Casa Condominium on your left. The bus stop is opposite Blk 575.
BW Monastery will be just beside the traffic light junction
Upon alighting, follow the road ahead as it bends to the right. Walk for another 150m and the monastery will be across the road.
2. By Car
Via CTE
Coming from CTE, join to SLE before looking for Exit 9 Woodlands Ave 12.
Continue onto Woodlands Ave 12, before turning left onto Woodlands Ave 1, and then turning right onto Ave 6.
The monastery is on your left.
Via PIE/BKE/SLE
Coming from PIE, join to BKE and then take exit 8 for SLE towards CTE/TPE.
Continue on SLE and look for Exit 9 to merge onto Woodlands Ave 12.
Continue onto Woodlands Ave 12, before turning left onto Woodlands Ave 1, and then turning right onto Ave 6.
The monastery is on your left.
