Guan Yin’s Whispers

In the heart of Singapore's bustling streets, I stood at a crossroads, torn between choosing English and Psychology as my major. Seeking guidance, I ventured to the Guan Yin Shrine Hall, hoping for clarity amidst the incense-laden air.

The divination lot spoke volumes: choosing Psychology meant trying to be someone I’m not. It hit me—I didn’t truly desire psychology; I was merely succumbing to family pressure.

With newfound clarity, I boldly chose English, following my passion without hesitation. Liberated from expectations, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, guided by the whisper of my own truth.
