皈依 : 皈投依靠佛陀

你想到我们在生死轮回当中，无比地痛苦，然后呢，佛陀这是无比地圆满，就是值得我们景仰，然后呢值得做我们的榜样。而且他又是一直在帮助我们，值得我们归投依靠，这个真正归投依靠的心，自然而然心不由己地你就会产生起来。然后想到他的种种的功德这个样的话，那个归投的心，越来越增长，是越来越清净，越来越圆满。

【Taking refuge】- Wholeheartedly take refuge in Buddha

When you start to think of how we are suffering immensely in this cyclic existence, and then, how perfect the Buddha is, [this will show that] he is indeed the one who deserves our utmost admiration, the one who deserves to be our role model. Further, he is continuously helping us which makes him worthy of our refuge and reliance. [With such contemplation,] you can’t help it but naturally develop the attitude of really wanting to go for refuge and rely on Buddha. Then, when you think of his many good qualities, your desire for refuge will progressively increase, become purer and closer to perfection.
