【The element of direction】
If you truly want to practice, by then you will be grateful for the rules that were set. These rules were not set by me , the Buddha set them. I also received from my excellent teacher…back then I always had something to do, he would surely ask, "Eh, what are you going to do? How long will you be gone?" Ah! In my mind, so then, because of this, I did not dare to just ask [to go anywhere]. Now I still continue to feel that I have benefited from this indefinitely. Slowly, slowly while being restrained, and when it becomes a habit, it will gradually become better. So back then, my teacher told me, "Now sometimes you feel that it is too strict. There will be a time when you wish it would be stricter and you cannot get it, by then it is too late to be remorseful."
Now, I treat you all the same . What exactly is on your mind, I do not know, but in my mind, the best things I can give you are these. I am still very happy, or you can say it is a mix of sorrow and joy, that kind of frame of mind, guarding you, guarding you! I take this very seriously. So I specifically explain this, when you are here and just speak in vain, it would not be welcomed!
