How to restrain the sensory faculties P2

【Meditation Session】【What to do in between meditation sessions】【Restraining the sensory faculties – How to restrain the sensory faculties】
【Here, the time for setting the mind on something that is "unobscured and ethically neutral" is not when the mind is apprehending a virtuous object of meditation, but at other times, such as during physical activities.】
So here he [Master Tsong-Kha-Pa] wanted to particularly explain what ethically neutral is, “unobscured and ethically neutral”. What are things which are [considered] unobscured and ethically neutral? That is physical activities, like when you are walking, sitting somewhere, doing something, etc. At that time, can’t talk about whether it is virtuous or non-virtuous. Because, at that time, certainly you are not whole-heartedly concentrating on doing it. For example, when you are paying obeisance to Buddha, and of course when you prostrate to the Buddha, you have to walk and that is considered a different thing. There are two kinds of ethically neutral states, one is obscured and ethically neutral, and the other is unobscured and ethically neutral. To put it simply, the contaminated one is the obscured one; the non-contaminated one is the unobscured. So now the five parts are explained with the texts. So now I will move away from the text and explain this from the beginning.First, we need to know in our normal state of being, what our thoughts are doing. What are our thoughts doing? Our thoughts are just naturally like this…our six sensory faculties, the eyes look, the ears listen, the mouth either talking or eating, and so it is always like that. Our body feels, with what we like, soft and comfortable, like it a bit cooler or warmer, etc., just like that. Then when the five sensory faculties come upon the sensory objects, then immediately the mental consciousness would follow. Then at this point, you will make all kinds of wrongful discernment. Like that. What do these wrongful discernments do? They will increase defilements, that are impure, which are all impure caused by these [wrongful discernments].
