实际上理论上面我们也了解，我们修学大乘佛法，大乘佛法要救度一切众生，十恶不赦之徒你都要救度他，何况已经出了家的清净幢相？他如法你赶快跟他学，他不如法你努力去救护他，这个才是啊！因为你要如法去救护他，你觉得自己内心当中还欠——悲心不够赶快学慈悲，智慧不够赶快学智慧，这个才是我们应该做的事情。哪有什么坐下来说他不对、说他不对的。普通的一个人尚且如此，何况你的尊长？不管你用哪一个方法去想，实际上很容易，慢慢、慢慢、慢慢去掉。

In fact, we understand this in principle too. We are now learning the Mahayana teaching. In the teachings of the Mahayana, we need to help save all living beings. We need to help even the worst villains, needless to say an ordained one who is a representation of pureness? If he accords with the teachings, you should quickly learn from him. If he does not accord with the teachings, then you strive to help him. That is how it should be! Because you have to help him in a way that accords with the teaching, but you feel that in your mind you are still lacking - if you lack compassion then quickly learn about compassion; if you lack wisdom then quickly learn about wisdom. That is what we should do. Why would you sit down and say that person is not right? This should be the way toward ordinary people, not to mention your teacher. No matter which way you think of this, this is actually very easy [to put into practice]. You will be able to gradually, gradually, gradually eliminate this [i.e. conceive faults in others].
