【摄彼等义】

这个无垢，实际上这个里面有两个条件，第一个，这个经论本身是跟我们现在所说的这个法完全相应的，这个话怎么讲？譬如说像大乘法，那么就跟大乘相应的；如果说是学性宗，那么性宗相应的。所以它经论本身固然是没有错，还有呢「机」本身也是完全相应。这个机就不大容易，佛说的这个道理是绝对正确的，但是应机本身又有相当的条件。现在大师离开我们又几百年了，所以我们要检点检点自己，使得我们也能够应他，那就对了!
引了这个经论以后还什么啊？「并以易解，能动心意」，这两句话。他虽然现在在这个地方，讲了经论，可是如果说，不说清楚我们还是不了解。我跟大家研究，我也本着这个原则，所以有很多好像很通俗，原因为什么？因为通俗，所以我们容易了解；因为通俗，所以我们立刻感受到，这样才对。

【A summary of the meaning of the previous five parts】

【Consequently, I have taken citations from uncorrupted scriptures and their commentaries, which are easy to understand as well as inspiring, and I have given a general overview that is adorned with the sayings of excellent persons who are engaged in the meaning of the scriptures. Understand this in detail from other sources. 】

They are "uncorrupted." For it to be uncorrupted, it would actually have to meet two conditions. First, these scriptures and commentaries must completely accord with the teaching that is being instructed. What does it mean by this? For example, if we are speaking about the teachings of Mahayana, then the texts must be in accord with Mahayana. If we are studying the systems of asserting emptiness, then the text should accord with that. Therefore, not only should the texts be accurate, but the students' dispositions must accord with the texts. This disposition is not easy [to achieve]. The principles said by the Buddha are absolutely accurate. However, for the students to be suitable recipients, the students must meet certain conditions. Now that the great lama has left us for a few hundred years, we should really examine and correct ourselves, so that we can become the right recipient of his teaching. Then it would be right.

Not only did he cite from the scriptures but what else? They are "easy to understand as well as inspiring", these two phrases. Even though here, he cited the scriptures, but if he didn’t explain them more clearly to us, we still won’t understand. When I discuss the text with you all, I also follow this principle. That is why in our discussion it may seem we use common examples and terms. What is the reason for this? This is because when the examples and terms are common, then they are easy to understand. When the examples and terms are common, we can relate to them right away. That’s the right way.
