【A summary of the meaning of the previous five parts】
【Consequently, I have taken citations from uncorrupted scriptures and their commentaries, which are easy to understand as well as inspiring, and I have given a general overview that is adorned with the sayings of excellent persons who are engaged in the meaning of the scriptures. Understand this in detail from other sources. 】
What will you feel? It will be "inspiring“, it will be inspiring. So you will need to be able to make a shift [to be inspired]. Or else, our ignorance from beginningless time is like a raw hide, it will not bend. So what use is there to instruct the teaching at length? What use is there in listening to the teaching at length? So what is the purpose for doing this? It is Lama Tsong Kha Pa's painstaking effort. And now we are also conscientious to learn this here. And these explanations
accord with the scriptures. Instructions that are inspiring may not accord with the scriptures. You may elaborate in an exaggerated account of, but if you speak wrongly, it would cause harm. So the explanation must accord completely with the scriptures. It must take the profound meaning of the scriptures and explain in a way to allow us to truly understand it.
The great lama also quoted from "the sayings of excellent persons." These are recorded words from the past masters. This is a true privilege, this is truly our privilege. And what has been actually explained here? It is only a "general overview." This is an outline that has been given to us. All the main principles are here, nothing essential is missing.
