On 15/10/2018, Venerable Ruquan led more than 100 students to recite chapter 439 of Mahaprajnaparamita sutra at BW Monastery, 3rd floor of Citiraya, Geylang centre to reminisce about our teacher, Master Jih-Chang.

Venerable Ruquan said, “Master made a vow in front of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, to take us from the cycle of life and death to the other shore of enlightenment. We are fortunate to have met Master, who led us to know The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment. What can help us see the truth life after life is only relied upon the faith we have in the teacher who symbolizes the Triple Gem - Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha. We must truly cherish and do our best to increase our faith in the teacher and the Triple Gem, in order to let such a mind stream continues into the next lives. 

After reciting the Sutra, the session had a perfect closure where Venerable Ruquan led all of us to make aspiration to follow Master Tsong-Kha-Pa, Master and teacher’s pure and complete teachings life after life, never to retreat and till we attain Buddhahood!
