业果 :从小地方培养大乘心

说到这里有一点事情我觉得非常感慨！尽管我们在这里大家学那个大乘的，可是一点小小的事情，要利益旁边的一点点人哪，哎呀，大家都谁都不愿意，找了种种的藉口，找了种种的藉口。这个事情实在是非常差，非常差！我们必定要从小地方慢慢地去培养，然后呢增长这个心，你才有机会慢慢、慢慢地说。说起来大乘，乃至于说密乘，喔唷，灌了什么的个大的顶，一点用场都没有，一点用场都没有！这个是我们要正确地了解的。总之，对这个真实的内涵，不但要把意义认识，而且它意义所指的真正的心理状态你认识了，把这一个改变过来。那个时候，对了、修行了！

【The Varieties of Karma】 -  build up the spirit of the Mahayana Vehicle by taking small steps

Speaking of this, there is something which makes me sigh! Though we are  here learning the Mahayana teachings, whenever there is something little to be done to benefit a few people around us, ah, no one is willing to do it. We would find all sorts of excuses, find all sorts of excuses. This is truly very bad , very bad !  We must begin by doing small things to cultivate and increase this mind [that is willing to benefit others]. That's when you will have a chance to slowly, slowly [develop].  When people speak of the Mahayana, or the Mantra vehicle, oh-yo, they would say they have received some great initiation. It's of no use at all, no use at all!  This is what we should understand correctly. In brief, to know the real meaning, not only should you understand the literal meaning, you will need to recognize the mental state that this literal meaning depicts and to change your mental state. That's when you would be correct and would be cultivating!
