业果 : 口业让我远离安乐

这就我们口业四种当中，都是说，这些地方啊都是"多诸怖畏，恐惧因缘"，都是这个。为什么原因，为什么原因？因为你因地当中所以说那个妄语的时候，提供不实的；或者是使人家感受到痛苦的，不管是离间也好、恶口也好；那么绮语呢，毫无意义的，反正这种毫无意义的事情的话，至少没有意义的话。这个所谓意义的本身是什么？善、乐。既然你现在开起口来都远离这个的话，因地当中造了这个因，果地当中都自然的一定会产生这个现象—就是远离安乐。远离安乐嘛就多诸恐怖了，这是因果之间是丝毫不爽啊！

【The Varieties of Karma】 - (negative) Speech karma brings you away from happiness

Among the four types of speech karma, it is said that, "you will have many reasons to be afraid."  It all point to this.  What's the reason, what's the reason? That is because when you lie in the causal period, you've presented something untrue or caused others to suffer, whether the speech was divisive or offensive, or it could be senseless speech, something entirely meaningless.  Anyhow, for these meaningless speech, it is words that are meaningless. So what is meaningful? Virtuous and happiness. If  now your speech brings you away from these, then you will have planted this type of cause in the causal period. So the effect period will naturally produce this type of phenomenon - far away from happiness.  Since you are far away from happiness, you will have many reasons to be afraid. This is the undisputable relationship between the cause and the effect!
