希求解脱 ： 没有厌离心就不会求寂灭

任何一个人，对于这一个事情，如果不产生厌离心的话，他怎么可能求寂灭这个厌离的方法呢？不可能的。反过来，他因为不了解这个三有的过患，而他见到三有这么个好，所以他贪着难舍。既然贪着难舍，怎么可能让他从这个地方跳出来，怎么可能从这个地方跳出来？所以啊现在有很多人哪，哎呀，要修行，说是要修行，喔唷，乃至于说受戒，乃至于出家，乃至于认真地去学；学了半天，他根本就没把握住——你为什么要跑得来学？他把握不住。所以到后来，知见一大堆，学问做了一大堆，有很多这样。结果呢他始终在那个地方空转，那是非常可惜，那是非常可惜！

【Intent of Liberation】 - Without disenchantment, one will not seek for peace

For anyone, in regards to this, if he does not develop disenchantment, how can he seek for peace, the method for disenchantment?  It would be impossible.  On the contrary, as he does not understand the faults of cyclic existence, he sees the “excellences” of cyclic existence. So he is attached and finds it difficult to let go.  If he is attached and finds it difficult to let go, how will it be possible for him to come out of this place, how will it be possible for him to come out of this place?  Therefore, there are many people now, ah-ya, who want to practise, they say they want to practise. Ah-yo, and furthermore they would adopt the vows, perhaps become renunciates, and even more so will learn diligently.  But after learning for a lengthy period of time, they never grasp this - why do you come here to learn?  They can’t  grasp it.  Therefore, in the end, there is just a pile of views and a great deal of knowledge.  Many people are like that.  As a result, they would continue to go in circles (achieving nothing).  That is such a pity, such a pity!
