平常我们往往不知不觉当中，很多地方有犯这种毛病。譬如说我们满好在这地方，做一件事情，本来自己懒懒瘫瘫的，看见一个人来了，欸！做得起劲得很，为什么？自己也说不懂，自己也说不出来。实际上呢，就是让他晓得我在那儿很用功，很认真地做，这个心理本身就是这种心理。其实这种心理不仅仅是贪欲，这种心理还有很多毛病在里头喔，这个心理又是个妄语的心理，这个心理又是跟贪相应的，又是跟痴相应的。你随便仔细一检查的话，啊！我们一天到晚都在十恶当中转哪！都在十恶当中转。

【Karma】- Our problem

We often unknowingly make this kind of mistake in many situations. For instance, we might be doing something here with ease, but feeling lazy and lethargic. However, when we see someone passing by, eh, we start to make great efforts at doing it. Why? We do not know why and we also cannot explain it. Actually, we did that just to let others know that we are working really hard and doing it very seriously. This is exactly the type of mentality occurring at that moment. Actually, not only is this mental state concordant to covetousness, there are many other problems associated with it too. This is also a mental state of lying. This is a mental state that not only concords with attachment, but also ignorance. Carefully examine yourself for a while, ah! We are associated with the ten nonvirtues all day long! We’re associated with the ten nonvirtues all the time.
