【The Meditation Session】
【What to do in between meditation sessions】
【Acting with vigilance - The foundations upon which you act - The five actions of movement】
【Actions of the eyes: 】
Eyes, when we walk, what do our eyes do….
【 Both slightly looking at various objects because you have seen them unintentionally, and fully viewing those objects you have intentionally looked at; 】
So number two? Eyes. For the eyes, there are two situations when looking. One is that which you do so unintentionally, eh, you casually look at it. This is one kind. The second kind is that you seriously first thought about doing it, oh, what you are going to do, what you are going to look at, then you go and look at it. So all that we do would include the body, the eyes, and then what else?
【Actions of the limbs, fingers, and toes: 】
With the body, you would need to do these things. What are limbs, fingers and toes?
【stretching out and contracting the limbs, fingers, and toes; 】
Why are these movements not included under the actions of the body? That is because for example, with the actions of the body earlier, the main point is on where you are going. Well then when I sit in this place, this seems…this is moving with your body to do anything. In other words, with whatever you do, you do it with your body and gestures, both are included.
