第二支供养

【无上供者,】
看看什么是无上供?
【「我以广大」等一颂。】
说「我以广大胜解心……」就是这个,那个才是无上的。
【言有上者,为世间供。此中乃是诸菩萨等,神力所变微妙供具。】
这个「有上的」是世间的供养,现在的「无上的」是佛菩萨的神力供养。那么现在我们有没有这个神力?没有。不要愁! 这个神力是「果」,我们现在能作的「因」,因绝对可以做得到! 我们现在真正应该做的,就是因。所以处处地方注意哦!我们现在真正修学佛法的人往往不认识,把握不住这一点,总是离开了因果谈佛法,这个是一个修学佛法的致命伤,致命伤。所以我们真正的在眼前的,你只要自己问说:我现在当下一念,是不是在因地上面做? 只要做,对了!

Preparation (5) – The second branch is offering.

【The next verse describes unsurpassable offerings: 】

Look at what is unsurpassable offering?

【I imagine all unsurpassable and vast offerings.. 】

"I imagine all unsurpassable and vast offerings for all the conquerors. With the strength of my faith in auspicious deeds..." This is it. That is considered unsurpassable.

【Surpassable offerings are those of worldly persons. Therefore, unsurpassable offerings are completely good things created by those with power, such as bodhisattvas. 】

"Surpassable" would be worldly offerings. "Unsurpassable" would be offerings made by the power of the Bodhisattvas. Now do we have the power of the Bodhisattvas? No! Do not worry! This power is an "effect (or fruit)." What we can do now is to create the "cause" We can absolutely accomplish the cause! What we should really do now is to create the cause. We have to be mindful of this on all occasions! But for us who are really training in Buddhism, more often than not, we do not recognize and cannot grasp this idea. We always neglect the law of cause and effect when discussing Buddhism. This is a fatal mistake, a fatal mistake in practicing Buddhism. Therefore, what we should really do now is just for you to ask yourself, "With my current thought now, am I doing the [right] thing in the causal period?" As long as you do this, you would be right!
