【A summary of the meaning of the previous five parts】
【Once you have done this, you will quickly become like the conquerors’ child Sadapraudita, who had perfect courage, and the youthful Sudhana, who knew no limit in his search for teachers. 】
In the future, if you correctly understand this – the way I understand this now, it is more painful not to walk on the path. Walking on the path is something that saves me effort. We might think, "It’s so difficult to practice, how can you say that not walking on the path is difficult, and to walk on it is easy?" Eh, this principle is really quite simple! Every one of us can relate to this. It's just like that. When we normally practice, because our obscurations from beginningless times are here, when we practice, many problems occur since obscurations have not been eliminated. When you have many obscurations, of course you won't be able to do much. You haven’t accumulated the collections of merit and wisdom and you don’t know the path, so that makes it difficult. Once you truly understand, why would it become easy? You’ve cleared the obstacles away. Of course it would become easy!
