【终不应恼乱,诸阿闍黎心,设由愚故为,地狱定烧煮。所说无间等,极可畏地狱,诸谤师范者,佛说住其中。」】
所以在任何情况之下,绝不要恼乱阿闍黎的心。他这地方特别说:不要恼乱阿闍黎的心。就换句话说:伺候阿闍黎,你要委屈求全,照着前面伺候阿闍黎的九心。说看这个师长欢喜什么,你委屈求全地,要想去体会他,这样才是我们正确的做法。假定说,你不了解,由愚痴,这地方说的这点我们了解,实际上我们常常受不了、不能,那时候还是我们愚痴,就是我们无明炽盛。如果说你愚痴而做了以后,对不起,那一定、一定堕落,一定堕落。堕落到哪里呀?无间地狱。所以我们应该注意。

【The faults of not relying on the teacher】

[ Never disturb in any way the minds of the masters. For, if you are confused and do so, you will definitely roast in a hell. It is explained that those who despise their masters will abide in any of the frightful hells that have been explained— such as the Unrelenting. ]

So under any circumstance, you absolutely do not want to disturb the mind of the masters. In this place, he particularly says not to disturb the master’s mind. In other words, when you are serving the master, you must compromise while considering the big picture, and put the nine attitudes of serving the teacher that are described earlier to practice. See what the master likes. Compromise while considering the big picture in your attempt to understand him. That's the correct way for us to practice. Suppose you don’t understand this and are ignorant; from this point that is indicated here, we now understand that in fact, when we frequently feel that we cannot bear it anymore, that we are unable to accomplish things, these are the times when we are ignorant. These are the times when our ignorance is ablaze. If you have done this out of ignorance, then sorry, you will certainly fall. You will fall to where? The Unrelenting Hell. So we should pay attention to this.
