Growing Together: Parents Camp June 2026
On 12-14 June, while the children embarked on their Zest Omni June Camp, their parents began a meaningful journey of their own through the Parents Camp. Designed to complement the children's learning experience, the camp encouraged parents to deepen their understanding of the Dharma through both volunteer service and parenting education. It was an opportunity for parents to grow alongside their children, even while participating in separate programmes.
Throughout the camp, parents wholeheartedly contributed behind the scenes by preparing meals, cleaning shared spaces, and supporting various volunteer duties. These simple yet meaningful acts of service became opportunities to practise generosity, mindfulness, teamwork, and gratitude. Working together also fostered new friendships as parents bonded over a shared purpose of creating a nurturing environment for every participant.
In addition to volunteering, parents attended interactive parenting lessons where they explored ways to strengthen communication, better understand their children's emotional needs, and build stronger family relationships. Through open discussions and the sharing of personal experiences, parents encouraged one another and discovered that every parenting journey is an opportunity for continuous learning and growth.
Although parents and children spent much of the camp apart, both groups were learning the same values in different ways. While the children developed compassion, resilience, and responsibility through camp activities, their parents cultivated these qualities through service and reflection. We are deeply grateful to every parent who participated, and we hope this meaningful experience continues to inspire families to walk the path of wisdom, kindness, and compassion together.
While our parents were growing through service and learning, our children were on an unforgettable journey of their own. Read about their Zest Universe & Omni June Camp experience.
