The Buddha Said (1)
The Buddha said, “Incense, flowers, oil lamp etc, are not the best offerings to the Buddha; the act to benefit all sentient beings is the best offering. Hence, benefiting all beings as an offering to the Buddha - this offering will delight all Buddhas - will cause all sentient beings to be happy. If we want to please the Buddha, the best way is the help all sentient beings to obtain peace and joy.”

佛陀说 (一)
佛陀说：“焚香、花朵、油灯等等，不是献给佛陀的最佳供养，利益一切有情众生是最佳的供养。因此，利益一切有情众生来供养佛陀——你的供养将使一切诸佛欣喜，将使一切众生欣喜。要取悦世尊，莫过于带领一切众生获得安乐。”
