Your Benefactor
By hitting you, it removes your karmic obscurations.
By scolding you, it subdues your arrogance.
By criticising you, it makes you reflect on your wrongdoings.
By slandering you, it tarnishes your reputation.

All the more reason for you to pursue happiness in your next life. If he is inclined to create non-virtuous karma and endure suffering in the miserable realms to help you progress on the path to Buddhahood, shouldn’t you be grateful to him?

毁谤，让你世间名声全毁，
更求后世安乐。
他不惜造恶业去三恶趣受苦，成就你的道业，他对你是不是有恩？
