Ardent Aspiration

For the purpose of attaining unexcelled supreme enlightenment, for the benefit of limitless beings who are like our mothers, we must aspire for omniscience. This is a Mahayana aspiration which is neither about seeking better comfort or prestige in this life, nor wishing for our own liberation from birth and death. We must eliminate such motivation and use a completely pure motivation to learn the Dharma.
