MEMORIZING THE SUTRAS AND COMMENTARIES

The memorization of sutras and commentaries is very challenging, it requires a lot of determination and perseverance, and also requires one to be joyous about it. It is also a form of effort by the Sangha community to incorporate the teachings into the mindstream.
