A Mouth Without A Heart?

A Mouth Without A Heart?

I chant the Buddha’s name and memorised the sutras.

My mouth is chanting but my heart is not chanting?

Or is it that my mouth is chanting, my heart is also chanting.

Is it that I am familiar with it, and hence my mouth will just go through the sutra once,

or is it that in my heart, I am bowing, paying respect and experiencing what was said in the content of the sutra?
