A virtuous father will teach his descendants virtues.
Heaven will provide plenty for their wants and needs.
The elders in the family are happy and fulfilled.
Hunger is filled, thirst is quenched, the tired may rest.

Like bamboo poles arranged to connect to a spring, this will survive generations. Whatever an upright man pursues, it will be filled with great joy and happiness.

Stack the bamboo to lead towards a stream. What you aspire will be fortuitously achieved.

It is the blessing from Heaven that a virtuous father can pass on his virtues to descendants with generations all living a life of abundance. Parents are healthy, the family is happy, with sufficient food to eat, drink and can rest when tired.

This is a neutral lot.
It is like drawing water from spring by joining sections of bamboo together. The able man knows to plan for his future. Hence the ending is always filled with joy and happiness.
