Joyous Rhapsody 2026 - The Path of a Practitioner 《道》
文化艺术处主办的年度活动"吉祥悦 -《道》"于7月25日在吉祥宝聚寺4楼圆满举行两场演出，共吸引646人参与，包括122位表演者、50位义工及474位观众。
活动伊始，由主持人张纯嘉与叶美伶搭档开场，向观众娓娓道来一位修行者的心路历程。她并非遥不可及的人物，而是如你我一般，在平凡日常中经历过迷惘、挣扎与思索，只为寻觅生命更深层的意义。
跟随着她的脚步，观众一同走进她的内心世界，见证她如何寻回修行的初心。或许，当故事缓缓展开，你会发现，她的旅程，其实也映照着我们每一个人的人生。
The annual "Joyous Rhapsody – The Path of a Practitioner" concert, presented by BW Arts and Cultural Department, was successfully held in the Hall of Jewels in BW Monastery on July 25, with two shows drawing 646 individuals together - including 122 performers,50 volunteers, and 474 audience members.
The program opened with emcees Crystal Cheong and Yap Mei Ling, who introduced the audience to the inner journey of a practitioner. She is no distant, larger-than-life figure…she is someone just like you and me, who has faced confusion, struggles, and quiet reflection in the midst of everyday life, all in search of a deeper meaning to her existence.
Following in her footsteps, the audience stepped into her inner world, witnessing how she discovered intention that led her to down the path of cultivation. Perhaps, as her story unfolds, we'll find that her journey is, in many ways, a reflection of our own.
HeyDays CO：
第一组是一群热爱传统乐器的年轻人，他们巧妙地将传统乐器与现代音乐融合，为观众带来耳目一新的音乐体验，演奏曲目为《照彻心海》、《度母赞》与《相思湖畔》。
First up, an ensemble of young musicians passionate about traditional instruments skilfully blended their sounds with contemporary instruments to give the audience a refreshing experience. They performed “Illuminating the Ocean of My Heart”, “Praise of Tara”, and “By the Lake of Longing”.
赞颂一班 Insightful Praise Class 1：
第二组以歌声承载法义，愿所唱所修，皆成为感念师恩、回馈三宝、利益众生的善行因缘，演唱《相思树》与《树影婆娑明月照》。赞颂一班亦与Rui Lin合唱《誓言》。
The second group carried the Dharma through song, with hopes that their singing and practice would become causes for gratitude toward our Gurus, for giving back to the Three Jewels, and for benefiting all sentient beings. They performed “The Acacia Trees” and “The Swaying Shadows of Trees under the Bright Moonlight”. They were also joined by soloist, Rui Lin (from The Odds) for the vocal offering of “The Vow” in Show 1.
Zest Universe：
来自7岁到12岁儿童班的小朋友们与青年Rui Lin一同演唱《誓言》。孩子们清澈纯真的歌声，为现场观众带来满满的欢乐与感动。
In Show 2, the children from Zest Universe, aged of 7-to-12 years old, sang with Rui Lin the insightful praise: “The Vow”. The children's clear, pure voices brought the audience joy and much laughter.
吉祥心品华乐团 Auspicious Xin Pin Chinese Orchestra：
第四组演奏曲目为《向日葵》、《月上青天》与《赞僧2》。团员在学习伴奏与赞颂的过程中，深刻感受到上师三宝的愿力与加持，并希望通过演出将这份感动传递给大家，让观众在沉浸其中的同时，也能用心感受。
The Chinese Orchestra performed “Sunflower”, “The Moon Rises in the Azure Sky”, and “Verses of Praising the Sangha (Part Two)”. The members felt the blessings of the Guru and the Three Jewels and conveyed that same emotions to the audience through their performance - inviting everyone to not only immerse themselves in the music, but to feel it with an open heart.
吉祥欢唱组 Auspicious Joyous Choir Section：
第五组带来现场钢琴伴奏的三首赞颂，分别为《欢迎菩萨冉冉来》、《善友》与《暇满人身多美好》。他们的歌声，因信念而更显坚定，为观众带来了无限的欢乐。
Accompanied by a live grand piano, they presented three Insightful Praises: ”Joyfully Welcoming the Bodhisattva”, “Virtuous Friend”, and “The Marvellous Human Life of Leisure and Opportunity”. Their faith-filled voices brought immense joy to the audience.
乐者 Yazers：
第六组演唱了《修心八偈》、《祈祷》与《蓝心泪》，其中乐者更带领全场观众一同参与新改编的《修心八偈》，让大家直接感受参与其中的乐趣。
Our Gold award-winning Pop Ensemble from New Zealand World Choir Games 2024 - Open Category performed “The Eight Verses of Thought Transformation”, “Pray”, and “Tears of the Beauty”. Yazers also led the entire audience to sing a small part of The Eight Verses of Thought Transformation, allowing everyone to experience the joy of participating firsthand.
The Odds：
第七组演出《密集嘛》、《佛子行》与英语版供曼达（Mandala Offering），其中新改编的《密集嘛》唱诵风格令人眼前一亮。压轴由The Odd带领全场一同供曼达（英语版），将气氛推向最高潮，全场在欢喜愉悦中圆满结束。
Our very own youth band performed “Migtsema”, “The Practitioner’s Way”, and the finale, led by The Odds. They brought the entire audience together for the “Mandala Offering” (English version), lifting the atmosphere to its peak and bringing the evening to a joyful and fulfilling close.
