Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) Open House Ceremony

BW Monastery was invited to the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) open house today, where the Minister for Transport, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, was present as Guest of Honour. Lecturers Ms Jennifer Goh and Dr Pua Hwee Leng, as well as the Youth PR team, represented the Monastery at the event.

We are overjoyed with the opening of the TEL because it improves the connectivity between Woodlands and the rest of Singapore. Not only will more people be able to come to our Monastery now, but we will also be able to care for more people beyond our own community!
