【Cultivating Ethical Behaviour】- Importance of preserving (daily morning and night rituals) formality

Therefore, starting from our daily morning and night rituals, everything is truly the best thing to do. The pity is that we do not understand them now. We might perhaps even say, "The daily morning and night rituals have now become a mere formality. We might as well do away with them!" But here is where we need to understand - that we are fortunate enough to still have this formality now. 所以我们现在从早晚课开始，每一样东西那都是最好的，只可惜的是我们现在不懂，乃至于我们就说：“现在这样的早晚课它徒具形式，还不如不要就罢了！”那这个地方现在我们了解了：幸好现在还有这个形式，因为还有这个形式，至少有机会的时候，有机会会告诉你，喏，这个形式所具的内涵是什么。你了解了，形式已经有了，然后呢内涵一用，马上对。你一旦把那形式扫除掉了，那完了，从此以后佛法就完了！所以想到了这里的话，不管是在任何情况之下，你还是会对最起码的形象，是都会对它产生无比地尊重，无比地恭敬。
