【The Varieties of Karma】 - Karma is the intended action
What is this karma? Karma is intention and also is the intended action. It is when your mind contemplates and processes, (when your thoughts arise) you are already there. Your thoughts will be carried out by your body actions and speech. Thus, who says that ethical discipline is limited to only the body and the speech? If your thoughts run wild, then no matter how great your deeds are, it would not count as your thoughts are running everywhere. No matter how great your conduct is, if your mind continues to be...like a monkey, if your mind is restless like a capering monkey and a galloping horse, there is no concordance! This is what we should understand.
