亲近善知识 - 示法性谛令解脱

假定说你能够得到善知识的摄受的话，那绝不堕落恶趣、绝不堕落恶趣！不过这地方要晓得哦，不是靠善知识的功德，而是善知识 你能够如法受他摄持，如法受善知识摄持的条件，非常重要。善知识尽管可以摄持你，告诉你：「某人啊，你应该这样做啊，不要这样做啊！」你眼睛一瞪，心里面嘀咕半天，那一点用场都没有。他下一次他也不会跟你说了，你要去磕头他也不会摄受你。不是他不摄受你，你排拒了，没有用，你排拒了，你没有用，这我们要了解的。

【How to rely on the teacher, the root of the path 】
Assuming you can receive the support from the excellent teacher, you will absolutely not fall into the miserable realms, will absolutely not fall into the miserable realms! However, you should know something here. This is not a consequence of the excellent teacher's good qualities, but [a consequence] of you acting according to the teaching under his care. The requisite conditions to receive the care of the excellent teacher is very important. Even though the excellent teacher can support you by telling you, "So and so, you should do this. You shouldn't do that!" But if you glare at him and grumble at what he says, then it all becomes useless. The next time, he will not tell you anymore. Even if you prostrate to him, he will not take you in. It is not because he won't support you but you have rejected it, thus it will be of no use to you. Since you have rejected it, it is of no use to you. This is what we should know.
