In celebration of Vesak Day and Mother's Day, BW Monastery is partnering Roses of Peace in distributing roses with interfaith messages of peace and love on the 13th May 2018!
Founded in 2012, Roses of Peace (ROP) is a ground up, youth-driven initiative that seeks to bridge the gap in interfaith discourse by connecting faith, service and diversity to empower youth to be change leaders and peace ambassadors. One of their signature events is the distribution of roses with interfaith messages of peace to the public to advocate interfaith harmony!
This time, Roses of Peace is partnering BW Monastery and together, we will spread the spirit of Vesak: to practice love, peace and harmony as taught by the Buddha and also show gratitude to the noble mothers in our community!
Join us to spread interfaith messages of peace, love, harmony and kindness through the distribution of 2562 roses this coming weekend!
