端午，不只是吃粽子的节日。

两千多年前，爱国诗人屈原心系国家、忧国忧民，于五月初五投江明志。百姓不舍其忠义，纷纷划船寻觅，并投入粽子以护其身，由此流传下端午节的种种习俗。直到今天，端午承载的，不仅是传统文化，更是一份对于国家与文化根源的珍惜与守护。

今年端午诚邀大众回到寺院参与文化活动，品尝新颖水晶粽，体验传统文化与节庆游戏站。大众在欢乐中重新认识端午背后的精神意义：爱国、感恩、忠义与传承。

在这个快速变化的时代，坚持传统文化的延续，让下一代感受华族文化中的温度与价值。

The Dragon Boat Festival is more than eating rice dumplings！

For over two thousand years, the festival has honoured the patriotic poet Qu Yuan, who devoted himself wholeheartedly to his country and its people. On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, he cast himself into the river as an expression of loyalty and despair. In response, the people rowed out to search for him and threw rice dumplings into the water, hoping to protect his body from fishes. From this act of remembrance and devotion, the traditions we continue to observe today were born.

Even now, the Dragon Boat Festival represents more than cultural customs. It reminds us to cherish our roots, honour our heritage, and uphold the values of loyalty and gratitude.

This year, we warmly invite you and your family and friends to return to the monastery and share in blessings, joy, and good fortune together. Enjoy specially prepared crystal dumplings, explore traditional cultural activities, and take part in festive game stations inspired by the spirit of Dragon Boat Festival! .
