On the 5th day of 1st lunar month, it’s been said to be the auspicious day to receive the God of Wealth which coincides with the first Great Compassion Repentance Puja during the lunar new year. On this excellent day of (Wealth) Vault opening, let’s have a joyful heart and mind to receive the Wealth God fervently for plentiful fortune, full and perfect virtues and merits, and use a pure attitude and mind to cultivate the Great Compassion Repentance Puja accordingly. This will purify our mind, repent our negative karmic deeds, supplicate for perfect bliss and wisdom and for wishes to be fulfilled. Thus using a compassionate mind to dedicate merits towards all beings, for harmony and joy in the world, all beings to be free from poverty, basking in Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva’s compassionate illumination.

Through repentance, let’s make offering and seek double blessings for wealth, bliss and wisdom for the beginning of a new year, may Wealth of God bestows bliss and Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva protects and blesses us all!
