1 Woodlands Drive 16 Singapore, 738994 Singapore (map)

To allow learners to repent negative karmic deeds and accumulate merits to be on the path of emptiness, the highly attained Master Renshan Jizhen from the Qing Dynasty wrote the Great Repentance through Maha-Prajnaparamita, after being moved by the essence of Buddha’s teachings from the 600 scrolls of Maha-Prajnaparamita sutra, which are extensive and profound.

The Sangha and the laities have been reciting the Maha-Prajnaparamita on a long term basis, together with the learning of Lamrim, 5 Great Treatises, that are all in alignment with the sutra.

Hence, with the repentance verses, make aspiration: through the strength of loving-kindness of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, being able to hear the term “Prajnaparamita” in the times of degeneration, may I never be away from all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from hereon… and to hear Maha-Prajnaparamita life after life.

You are invited to join in the Maha-Prajnaparamita Repentance Puja that takes place at 2pm, on the fourth Saturday of each month at BW Monastery, and experience the Dharma joy of repentance together.
