Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva holds a pearl in his left hand to show the way to heaven, and a monk staff in his right hand, that shakes open the gates of hell. With great aspirations, he will only attain Buddhahood after all beings are liberated. On Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s birthday, let us recall his great compassionate aspirations, make repentance, and 10 offerings to the Bodhisattva, including light offerings. These merits can be dedicated to our parents and parents of past lifetimes; may they attain peace and happiness.

地藏菩萨愿力宏深，左捧明珠照彻天堂路，右持金锡振开地狱门，众生度尽，方证菩提。地藏圣诞日，让我们忆念地藏大悲愿，礼地藏忏，以十供供养迎菩萨，献上千灯，并至心回向现世与累劫父母悉获安乐。
流程 ：由法师带领拜 ；地藏忏，佛前大供
The Original Vows of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra states that, if virtuous men or women draw, paint, glue or lacquer earth and rocks, use gold, silver, copper or bronze to make Bodhisattva statue for anyone to see or pay homage to, they will be reborn in Trāyastriṃśa heaven and never fall into miserable realms. Even if all the heavenly merits are depleted, one will be reborn in the human realm as a king, not losing great fortune. Offering Ksitigarbha statue for others to view and pay reverence is a merit field for all beings to accumulate merits.
《地藏菩萨本愿经》云： “若有善男子、善女人，或彩画形像，或土石胶漆、金银铜铁，作此菩萨，一瞻一礼者，是人百返生于三十三天，永不堕于恶道。假若天福尽故，下生人间，犹为国王，不失大利。” 供奉瞻礼地藏像，旨为众生种福田。
