斋天又名供天。 斋天的主要对象是十方三世一切诸佛、《金光明经》等大乘经典及大梵尊天、帝释尊天、金刚密迹、大辩才天、大功德天等二十四天众，各种善神等。诸天巡行人间，护佑正法。凡是有三宝及供佛斋天的地方，诸天神等均会降临道场，为人们降福，消灾免难。

The heaven realm is where the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas manifest too. Through offering to the heavens, paying respect and with repentance, through the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas’ strength of aspiration, we’ll be able to benefit all beings to be free from suffering and eliminate obstacles, for bliss and longevity to be obtained, and supplicate for the country to have prosperity, peace, and social stability for its citizens.

斋天的十种利益：

一、五官端正，消灾难，得吉祥；
二、身体气血通畅，嗓音柔软妙好；
三、心地清明聪慧，不为愚痴所转；
四、视力良好；
五、龙天护佑，智慧弘开，学业有成；
六、生活安稳，衣食丰足，心无所惧；
七、身心自在，善财广进，财宝集聚；
八、圆满相貌，得家庭幸福安乐；
九、身心健康，远离病痛苦恼；
十、国泰民安，大众安居乐业。
