盂兰盆报恩供佛供僧超荐法会

The Ullambana Festival is an important period where Buddhists recall the kindness of ancestors and cultivate filial piety towards all beings. It is also when the Sangha community completes their Vassa retreat.
BW Monastery Sangha will be reciting Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva sutra every night from 21 August to 26 August, and on 27 August (Completion day) devoutly practise Ksitigarbha Repentance.
Everyone is invited to sincerely recite the Sutra, repent, and supplicate for blessings with a compassionate and filial heart, and make offerings to the Buddha and Sangha. With the merits accumulated, let’s supplicate to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for their blessings to eliminate the pandemic swiftly, the country and its citizens to have safety and peace, our parents to be healthy and have longevity, and be well and happy. Also, dedicating the merits towards our departed parents and ancestors to be reborn in a happy realm or pure land, all beings in the 10 directions to be free from sufferings, eliminate obstacles and attain Buddhahood swiftly.
