Rare appellation – Buddha

The reason why the Buddha is called the Buddha is because he had completely eliminated all non-virtues and perfected all virtues. Under the guidance of our teacher, the Buddha, we will desire to eliminate innumerable non-virtues and cultivate innumerable virtues. If you think about the merits of the Buddha's appellation, it is possible for sentient beings to become Buddhas, because we [have the ability to] cease non-virtues and cultivate virtues!
