Knowledge as Guide

The scriptures are teachings left behind by the Buddha, thus it is necessary to read them.
Master Bodowa once said, “Before meeting the excellent teachers, we may have read a little, however we are unable to see even with our eyes opened.” Therefore, we need the excellent teachers (guidance) to study the scriptures.
