Motivation (III)

We must cultivate our motivation, beginning from preparing to listen to the teachings, sutra recitation, carrying out virtuous deeds, making offerings to the Three Jewels, even having few meals a day, to the extent of performing any task. The intention is not for our selfish needs, but for the purpose of attaining unsurpassed enlightenment, when the final objective is to help all sentient beings to be free from suffering and attain happiness.
