As we are unclear about the profound cause and essence of the Dharma, many times we treat the teaching like a form of business transaction.The main gist of the Dharma is karma, which is about very profound cause planted before, and is by no means limited to what we can see now. We should instill the concept of past and future lives, and not make considerations that are limited by the perspectives of present life.
