Magic Mirror

MAGIC MIRROR

The teaching is not a magic mirror. When we are learning the teachings, we should use the teachings to reflect on ourselves and our afflictions. We should not use the teachings to reflect others and see the faults of others. If we do so, are we learning the teachings or are we learning ourselves.

照妖镜

佛法不是“照妖镜”。学习佛法,应当时刻以法观照自己的内心和烦恼；切勿以法充当照妖镜, 一味儿指责别人的过失。倘若如是,请问：你是在“学佛”？还是在“学我”？
