Prophecy: Inauspicious

A traveller returns, having braved the winds and rains.
Laboring like a homing swallow,
Which builds in vain a shelter of clay,
That collapses and disappears whenever it rains.

Even when one tries every way and means, slogs hard day and night, all efforts will eventually be in vain.

Like a swallow which tries to build a nest with clay to protect itself against the rains, everything is laborious.

One goes through countless setbacks, undeterred by hardships, rushing and busy working, just like a swallow who braves the wind and rain to build its nest with clay. However, the nest is constantly being damaged and the swallow has no choice but to rebuild the nest repeatedly.

This is an inauspicious lot.
Although you try every means working day and night, in the end, there are no additional gains and all efforts will turn out to be fruitless.
