A Meaningful Ullambana at BW Monastery

The Ullambana Festival is an important Buddhist occasion to remember the kindness of our parents and ancestors, cultivate filial piety, and dedicate merits to all beings. It also marks the completion of the Sangha’s Vassa retreat.

From 27–30 August, the BW Monastery Sangha came together for prayers, repentance, sutra recitation and offerings to the Buddha and Sangha.

Together with 488 participants at the Grand Puja, we sincerely dedicated the merits of these practices towards the well-being of our loved ones, peace and safety for all, and the liberation of all sentient beings. 🙏

May the merits of this auspicious occasion continue to bring blessings and benefit to all. 🌸
