Minister of State Mr Baey Yam Keng visits BW Monastery

🌟 Honoured Visit by Minister of State Mr Baey Yam Keng 🌟

We were deeply honoured to welcome Mr Baey Yam Keng, Minister of State for Transport, and Culture, Community and Youth, and serves as the Mayor of North East District, to the Zhen-Ru Art Exhibition – A Life of Vibrant Colours. He was accompanied by Mr Adam Teo, Deputy Director of Communication and Engagement, and Mr Jim Goh, Manager of Community Engagement.

During the visit, Mr Baey shared that the artworks reflect “the essence of stillness within motion” (静中求动) — conveying a sense of serenity even in movement.

He also took time to interact warmly with our volunteers and youths, offering heartfelt encouragement and sincere appreciation for their efforts. After viewing the exhibition, Mr Baey toured the monastery grounds, engaging with members of our community and exploring the rich culture we’ve thoughtfully instilled throughout — from the main shrine hall to every corner of the premises.

We are especially grateful that he showed genuine interest in our Buddhist College curriculum and took time to encourage our dedicated volunteers, including those tirelessly supporting operations in the kitchen.

🙏 A big thank you to Mr Baey and his team for their presence, care, and support.
