MP Lee Hui Ying’s Visit during Vesak Day

This Vesak Day, BW Monastery had the privilege of welcoming Ms Lee Hui Ying, Member of Parliament for Nee Soon GRC. A dedicated community volunteer and communications leader, Ms Lee embodies a spirit of heartfelt service and commitment to the well-being of others.

With sincerity and humility, she engaged with our Dharma facilitators, youth volunteers, and seniors, sharing in meaningful exchanges on the importance of compassion, intergenerational care, and inner well-being. Her thoughtful approach to listening, connecting, and uplifting others beautifully reflects the values of kindness and empathy that Vesak celebrates. We are deeply grateful for Ms Lee’s presence and her willingness to share this special occasion with us. May her example inspire many to serve their communities with compassion and humility.
