Insightful Praise Enrichment Class 2— Event Highlights
We sincerely thank our Arts & Culture (ANC) Department for giving the Auspicious Buddhist Hymns Group the opportunity to host the 2025 ANC Insightful Praise Enrichment Class 2.
Our heartfelt appreciation to Deputy Head. Miss Angeline Liu for personally arranging the venue, providing guidance and attending the event. This brought tremendous energy and support to the organising committee and event.
We also thank Sister Tay Chai Nee from our ANC Events Section for promoting the event marketing across various departments and Lamrim classes.
In addition, we have the following to thank for the successful completion of the event, namely:
Sister Lim Si Pei from the Auspicious Joyous Choir Section for joyfully taking charge of the poster designing and event photography;
Sister Ong Bee Bee, a member of Praise Class 2, for sharing her invaluable experience in organizing the first enrichment class — truly inspiring and beneficial to all of us.
A total of about 75 participants attended this event, including more than 20 supporting volunteers.
With a united heart and shared Mahayana aspiration, every volunteer devoted themselves to making this event successful and meaningful.
For the venue setup, we express special thanks to Brother Lee Chiew Siah and Sister Chan Jee Jong (a husband-and-wife team) for creating a three-dimensional ship model themed “The Navigator of Our Lives.”
Their creativity and effort brought enthusiasm and vibrancy to the entire event atmosphere. This also gives a greater sense of spiritual motivation to embark on the journey of Bodhicitta on the Ocean of Prajna.
We prepared 100 small gifts (hand towels) and 100 mini flower bouquets to share blessings and well wishes with all attendees.
During the two-hour session, everyone participated in the Vast Offering, followed by a Dharma teaching from our Venerable.
Event Highlights:
🎤 Opening: Group Singing
The Insightful Praise Ensemble began with three praises:
《有一条路在你身边》,《皈依颂》and《密集嘛》, led everyone to settle into a peaceful atmosphere with a strong sense of homage to the Triple Gems and lineage masters.
📖 Sharing on the Origin of 《密集嘛》was by Sister Helen Ho and Sister Goh Lee Choo, helped everyone to gain a deeper understanding of how to offer the insightful praise with much focus and pure devotion.
🎶 “菩提心赞颂” Learning Session
Led by Brother Lee Chiew Siah & Sister Chan Jee Jong, sharing insights on the 22 methods of generating Bodhicitta.
Brother Lee Chiew Siah guided the offering phrase by phrase, while Sister Chan Jee Jong led the vocal offering with the group.
The joy on everyone’s faces reflected the resonance of the yearning to cultivate Bodhicitta through insightful praises.
🔊 Acapella Performance by the Buddhist Hymns Section Choir.
Conducted by Mr Yang Zhong Jie, presenting three insightful praises:
《莲花喻赞2》,《皈依颂》and《摇篮曲》.
The purity of the acapella voices moved the audience into Dharma joy.
Grand Finale: Vocal Offering from the Heart
Four Insightful Praises were prepared for the finale:
1. 《福智美》
2. 《相结合思湖畔》
3. 《爱心树遍人间》
4. 《你是我最亮的星》
With time permitting, we added one more insightful praise《祈请上师颂》，where everyone to sing together joyfully.
As the event concluded, participants left with a joyful heart, a meaningful gift and a beautiful flower bouquet.

2025年10月26日赞颂提升课2｜活动回顾
感谢文化艺术处提供这次机会，让吉祥佛曲组有幸承担 赞颂提升课2 的护持团队。
特别感谢文化艺术处的刘菁菁副处长，亲自安排场地、给予指导并出席参与。这让整个活动注入满满的能量与活力。
同时感谢文化艺术处活动组,组长戴 彩妮师姐协助通过海报与讯息宣导活动至各处及班级。
也感谢吉祥欢唱组的林思佩师姐，欢喜承担海报设计与现场摄影。随喜赞颂2班的王美美师姐 分享第一场赞颂提升课成办的宝贵经验，令我们受益良多。
本次活动共有约 75位大众参与，其中包含 20多位护持义工。义工们同心同愿，以最真诚的心力，使整场活动充满欢乐与温暖。
此次活动现场布置，特别感谢李秋城师兄与郑余滢师姐。他们这对夫妻档用心制作立体大船模型— “生命中的领航者”，呈现象征意义深远的主题，也让整体氛围更加有承载菩提发心的在般若海上航行的动力。护持团队也精心准备了 100份小礼物（手帕）及100束小花，将这份善缘与祝福献给所有参与者。
在两个小时的课程中，大众一同进行了 广供仪规，并聆听法师开示：
“在唱赞颂前，内心要准备好前行，因为赞颂的对象是上师、三宝与护法。以观功念恩与崇高的心情来唱诵，每一首赞颂都是佛菩萨无上的加持。。。“
节目内容如下：
🎤 齐唱组率先登场
三首赞颂——《有一条路在你身边》，《皈依颂》，《密集嘛》
由齐唱组带动。
📖 《密集嘛》由来分享由何岫霓 与吴俐珠师姐 分享《密集嘛》曲的由来。
🎶 “菩提心赞颂”共学与分享由 李秋城师兄 & 郑余滢师姐带领，介绍22种发菩提心方式，引导大众一句一句学习与唱诵。
🔊吉祥佛曲组三首清唱
由 杨忠杰指挥 带领合唱组清唱三首赞颂：《莲花喻赞2》，《皈依颂》 和《摇篮曲》。
清净的歌声使全场沉浸在赞颂的法喜中。
最后压轴：全场大合唱
压轴环节，我们为大众准备了四首赞颂：
1. 《福智美》
2. 《相结合思湖畔》
3. 《爱心树遍人间》
4. 《你是我最亮的星》
因时间允许，我们也增加了一首《祈请上师颂》，让大家尽情齐声唱诵。
此提升课让每个人都带着欢喜心、小礼物与鲜花圆满落幕的回家。大家热烈期待下一期的赞颂提升课的到来。
