Anti-Scam Talk

Did you know that in 2022, Singapore reported a staggering total of 31,728 scam cases, resulting in victims losing a massive $660.7 million? 😱 The alarming trend of scams is affecting countless people, making it crucial for all of us to stay informed and protected. 💪🏻Hence, BWM specially invited officers from Woodlands East Neighbourhood Police Centre to educate our community on how to identify a scam and avoid falling prey to one.

Rejoice to the team of officers for coming down to raise awareness regarding the prevailing scam cases in Singapore! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ A team of youth volunteers were also stationed behind the hall to assist the audience with the downloading of a mobile application aimed at blocking any scam calls/messages.
