We also know that small scope wouldn’t stop their continuous practice; the reason one is unable to advance is due to one’s weighty karmic obstacles and lack of merits. One can abide by the method of the small capacity, with gradual enhancement; eventually one will reduce the karmic obstacles and accumulate merits. When one’s ability is strengthened, well! By that time, one’s mentality becomes stronger, and one can take the opportunity to advance in orderly sequence! Thus, regardless from whatever angle you look at it, the great benefits are there! So here pay attention! Now that everyone has this understanding, this is why I specified that encompassing integrity of Lamrim lies here, this is the key to our study of great scriptures, and it is also the most difficult part.

我们也晓得下士他不会停止在那里，所以爬不上去的理由，他因为业障重、资粮不够。他能够照着这个下士的这个方法，慢慢地去做，业障慢慢减轻，资粮慢慢积聚，能力增高了以后，欸！到那个时候心慢慢地加强了，正好趁这个次序又爬上去啊！所以不管你从哪一个角度去看，它有这样大的好处啊！所以这个地方注意哦！大家现在了解的话，为什么我说本论真正圆满的就在这个地方，这才是我们学这个大经大论的骨节眼所在地方，也是最难的地方。
