僧团结夏安居

每年农历四月十五日至七月十五日，是僧众结夏安居的日子。在此期间，出家众禁止外出，以防离心散乱，僧众聚集一处精进修行，称为安居。

安居的首日，称为结夏，在这期间僧众安住寺院虔心修学，持戒，诵经，礼佛，研习经论等，是佛陀大慈悲心的体现。

吉祥宝聚寺僧团将于2021年5月26日开始结夏安居。僧团于此期间谨奉持佛陀教诲，精勤闻思，持诵经典，依法行持，广修供养，为众生礼忏祈福。

例如虔礼《八十八佛洪名宝忏》、《礼千佛》、《法华三昧忏仪》、《地藏宝忏》；持诵《金刚经》、《佛说药师如来本愿功德经》、《观音菩萨普门品》、《佛说阿弥陀经》等经咒。

以此功德祈愿三宝加被、龙天护佑，回向世界和平，疫情早日消除，众生无灾无难、平安吉祥、福慧圆滿。

The Sangha Annual Vassa Retreat Sutra Recitation Puja

BW Monastery Sangha will be starting their annual Vassa Retreat on 26 May 2021 and during the retreat, they will be upholding Buddha’s teachings, diligently persevere on listening and contemplating the teachings, recite the sutras, practice according to the teachings, make vast offerings, repent and seek blessings on behalf of all beings.

There will be prayers with 88 Buddhas Repentance, Homage to Thousand Buddhas, Fahua Samadhi Confession，Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra for Repentance, and recitation of Diamond Sutra, Medicine Buddha Sutra, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva Universal Gate Chapter, The Buddha Speaks of Amitabha Sutra, and their mantras.

With the merits accumulated, let’s supplicate for Triple Gem’s blessings, protection by dragon kings and heavenly beings, and dedicate the merits towards world peace, swift elimination of the pandemic, all beings to be free from calamities, have peace and safety, perfect bliss and wisdom.
